Looking for pointers in working with spheres. One question I have is how to extrude hole cuts on the surface of a sphere having the center lines point to the center of the sphere? Thanks for the help!!!

1. Use the ambasicplanes command
2. On the default sketchplane, draw a circle, draw a line horizontally quadrant to quadrant.
3. Trim the bottom half.
4. Profile and dimension the half-moon shape.
5. revolve your profile
6. Now that you have a solid, go back and edit the sketch, and constrain the circle to the workpoint.
7.(You may have to delete a fix point before you can do step 6)
*** You now have 3 planes equalling six sides that you can offset or constrain to.
8. Offset a sketch plane 1/2 the diameter of the sphere, put a workpoint on the new sketch plane.
9. Constrain the new workpoint to the first work point.
10. Use the amhole command, and for the placement, choose "On Point."
