Whata are the standards available for process interconnections to utilities. I am specifically looking for Nitrogen connections to process lines.

If I understand your question well, then the following would be the answer:

Double block valves with a check valve in between plus a figure 8 blind.

This what I used to see in most of the utilities connection piping with the process stream piping to avoid contamination of the process.

In any case, if you connect any utility-line to a process line/vessel etc. you'll need some sort of back-flow protection.
This can be in the form of a check valve or instrumented system.
