Hi all,

I'm working on a current project whereby I need to find or make a tap that can connect the Knuckle Thread DIN 168 especially for glass containers (male) to a tapped nylon / steel with the correct counterpart.

I've searched all over for a conversion from Knuckle Thread DIN 168 (GL) range to any other type but I can't find anything suitable. Does anyone here know of any reliable specialist thread producers or someone who could help?

This is my source for thread info — The ultimate goal is to be able to connect glass forms with GL thread to a metal arm, threading the glass on and off whenever needed.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you both for the feedback — I've written to EMUGE to see if they're able to help with a custom tap.
I'm designing a lighting system and want to be able to tap the tubing myself and screw the glass in.
I can probably design the glass with a fixture that doesn't require a screw thread but feel this is the most intuitive and reliable for the long term. Any other thoughts on glass connections are much appreciated, thanks!
