SpaceNavigator in CATIA V5R17

CJD posted the following question recently in another forum:

could anybody advise on setting up a 3dconnexion SpaceNavigator in CATIA V5R17 please.

the manufacturer informs me not to use the devices control panel, but to use the one built into CATIA, but were not able to say where to locate it.

To see the Space Navigator toolbar in CATIA, use VIEW + TOOLBARS and turn on the 3Dx DEVICE toolbar.

There's a picture of the toolbar attached below.

The Customization tool is the second icon from the right.
