Hallo

I'm using ANSYS 15.0.7 Workbench and I try to solving a problem which includes thermal and electric phenomenas. When I try to solving the same problem by just using
either thermal or electric analysis it will be solved. But not when I using both at the same time. I know that the equations are much more difficult by solving
a thermal-electric problem. Ansys 15 workbench has this opportunity. But I couldn't find any example of such a solution.

Here are one example of properties which I tried. But it seems to me that doesn't metter what I use, thermal-electric problems leads to a error in ansys.

Analysis Systems: Thermal-Electric

Geometry: A wire (resp. cylinder) with a length of 1000mm and diameter 0.006m
Mesh: default
Steady-State Thermal-Electric Conduction:
Current: 10amps on one surface of the wire
Temperature: 20°C on one surface of the wire

Solution:
Error: The solver engine was unable to converge on a solution for the nonlinear problem as constrained. Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information.
Warning: The unconverged solution (identified as Substep 999999) is output for analysis debug purposes. Results at this time should not be used for any other purpose.

I would be very thankful if someone has an idea what the error could be or if someone solved a similar proplem and could tell me how he solved the problem.

I just made my example as simple as possible in order to show you my error. The target is to analyse the temperture distribution inside of cables at certain current supply.

Hello
please mr.marco if you have any solution of this error, please reply me in this e-mail: mostafa4_5@yahoo.com because i had the same error in my model in steady state thermal electric ansys 15.
thaks
