solram - memory allocation

hello all,
I have some question about the use of memory allocation (solram) in simulate.
1-how simulate will react if I set the memory allocation to zero? does the solver will bring the required memory from the whole memory?
2-is it possible to set both allocation memories (one for the solver and the other fpr element data) or setting the total?
