A long time ago (2004?) i was able to save a Solidworks drawing in ProE form (.prt). I am now running SW2005 SP2, and the help screen still says that i have that option but it does not appear in the "Save As" menu.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Drawing. i can save parts and assy's as ProE with no problem

I beleive you can only with solids.
If you look at the "save as" formats between part, assy & dwg, you will see differences.

You can save as dxf and import that to ProE, but that my not be what you are looking for....

Thanks for all your inputs. I believe you are all correct in what you say. Now, if i can only convince my customer.....
