Hi all, I've been all over the internet looking for help with this Solidworks Macro. Hopefully someone here can help.
Most of our assemblies are made up of sheet metal parts. After we are happy with the assembly, the steps we follow are always the same;
1. open each part individually
2. create the dxf for laser cutting
3. create a drawing of the flat pattern with the bend lines dimensioned for the bending press operator:

Step 1 and 2 have been automated by a neat macro I found online ( Basically from the assembly I run the macro and it opens each file by itself and generates the DXF.

I would now like to automate the 3rd step in a similar way.

So i need help with a macro that does the following:

From my active assembly the macro generates one drawing file with the same name as the assembly.
This drawing file is populated with the flat patterns of each part and the dimensions for the bend lines bounding box is added automatically.

If there is nothing free you might need to hire a coder to build yourself custom macro.

I hired "Handleman" from here @ Eng-Tips a year or two ago to write us a custom macro and he did a great job and was reasonably priced.
