I build custom prototype molds and want to build mold blanks that can be modified for each new job. Save as copy and changing the name does not work and the original blank mold rebuilds when opened into the new mold design. I need to copy the assembly with all mates and references to the internal parts intact, but no references to the original blank. I'm sure it's a no brainer but I can't seem to get it. I do get the window saying something about select references in the save as dialog box, but I see no references selection in any box.
