Hello All,

This one seems very straight forward but I just can't get it to come together. I want to apply colors and transparency to certain faces to highlight a hole that goes through the entire assembly. However, even if I select the face level in the adjust appearance menu it's not coming through.

All of the part have appearances at the component level but I am selecting at a face level.

If I try to remove all appearances solidworks crashes.

Component colors overide part or lower level colors.
Part, Body, Feature, Face, Component. Listed in higherarchy..
If part is colored blue. And you color a body it will overide part color. If face is set in part it will be properly shown in assembly unless they have a component override.

Is it possible to set faces as transparent? (Face, not body or feature, or....)
