We are looking to transition to Solid Edge but have an extensive library of DWF published prints. Can SE use these and/or re-publish them to a different format. Is there a way to do it in groups or just individually. We have talked with people who have stated that SE will not utilize DWF files.

I don't see dwf files listed, though I'm a few versions behind.

However, if they can be converted to something like dxf then SE can open those.

That's was a previous employer had done. Their old system was called Swift or something and they'd had some company do a batch convert to dxf or something like that.

Are examples, I"m not recomending either just showing what turned up on a quick search.

it appears that dwf is AutoDesks answer to pdf, so I don't think CAD programs are going to 'open' the files.
There is a viewer available, so using your existing stuff should not be a problem.
There is also a creator that works as a print driver so you may even be able to carry on creating them.
