Guys,
I am currently in the process of installing a Mercury 50 engine in NYC. The lube oil for this line is an exxon mobil product and a class 3 synthetic esther oil. Can anyone recommend a gasket for this type of medium. The pressure and temp are both very low. Pressure is ~50 pounds and temp is around 225 degrees F. I was thinking a Garlock Gylon 3500 style gasket would be required. Could I possibly use a standard spiral wound stainless gasket with a graphite filler?
Thanks in advance for any help.
