solar flux require requalification

We have a WPS qualified using argon purge backing on P8 to P8 matl. that my welders have performance qualified to, do I need to requalify my welders if they now use solar flux backing?

The solar flux works as the normal flux in submerged welding, I believe that is an essential variable, hence you need to requalify the procedure and the welders too. I would check also with the flux supplier and the AI.
