What should be minimum cover criteria for tunnels in soft clay?
In our present problem, the soil cover above TBM tunnel is ~1D and we are planning to construct a subway above the tunnel when the cover between Tunnel Crown & Subway bottom will be <1D.
Our concern is what should be the stability issues considered in design & construction period.
