Soil anisotropy effect in piles vs. spudcans

Hi all,
I am new around here therefore I will try to make my case as summarized as possible.
Currently, I am involved in a research aiming to study the difference in penetration among the structural elements below, by considering the effect of soil anisotropy in the soil's mechanical properties (soil resistance):
1- Closed pile (solid)
2- Spudcan (can be considered as a onshore solid circular slab)

This research is made in the context of jack-up vessels (technique where structural elements "legs" are extended into the seabed and lift the vessel above water table) such as in the O&G or OWF industries.

It would be great if anyone could point out any existing literature describing the cases 1 & 2. Alternatively, any literature under the same conditions but considering onshore environment and elements such as piles and slabs, could be equally helpful.

I dont meant to be rude, but why would someone do your literature research for you? Ask chat gpt.

Hi,
That is exactly what I meant by my post, to indicate a question that I have which is whether anyone has knowledge of articles/researches/studies related to this topic. By this I am requesting guidance as well. I have tried your suggestion but nevertheless, I still appreciate feedback from people with experience in this topic.

In any case, I never intended anyone to do the research for me but only to indicate if they have any knowledge about existing ones.
