Softwares for Hydraulic Transient Analysis

Hi All,

Need suggestions for carrying out hydraulic transient analysis of pump storage power plants with Pump-turbines having variable speed characteristics both in generation mode and pumping mode as well.

Please suggest best available soft-wares/numerical models in the market to carryout the analysis with such pump turbine characteristics in-built.

Tried SIMSEN software but found difficult to operate.
