Hi all,

Yes they exist: Tube in Tube in Tube Heat Exchangers.

The product flows through an annulus and is heated this way from both sides.

Does anybody know/have software available to do calculations on capacity, prodcut outlet temps etc. depending on heating fluid flow and temperature?

Many thanks for suggestions,
MVD

the calcs are straightforward for these type exchangers (i.e. Q = m x Cp x dT for both process streams and Q = U x A x LMTD - overall exchanger). recommend investigating brown fintube or using the engines for double pipe exchangers.
have Fun!
