Check out this article. A very, VERY deep hole.


This reminded me of an old, OLD Superman TV show episode I saw once (when I was so SO young). They were drilling a deep oil well hole and apparently intruded on an underground civilization of "aliens".

Strange beings coming up out of your borings - what a concept.
