Dear colleagues,

Is there any way of 'smoothing surfaces?

I've made a boundary surface using some curves but i'd like the resulting surface were smoother.

For your help, thanks

William

Several things you can do:

Insert more curves.

Use control Points to map vertices.

If your curves are thru points you can smooth your curves.

The smoother your curves are the smoother your surface will be. If you do add internal curves try to add as few as possible.

try adding tangency to the boundaries.

If possible, make your curves C2 continuous. This is done with curve through points or splines and will remove the internal boundary lines.

or if you have Style (ISDX package) use that and replace/merge the old surface.
