I have a customers drawing that has a slot with no locational tolerance. But, has a centerline thru the center of it. Is there a default position tolerance in this case.

Assuming ASME Y14.5M-1994 or equivalent (and assuming no notes about perfect alignment/symmetry at MMC etc.) then no there is not a default position tolerance and the drawing is lacking information.

See section 2.7.3 the std.
