Does anyone have
suggestions of how to get the pin (on the lower swashplate) to follow
the guide (the tall black piece with the slot). I can't seem to
do it with the parts shown and only suspect (new to mechanism stuff)
that I'll need to add invisible parts to make this work.

Forgot to add: The swash should move up and down and tilt in X
and Y direction. I can add callouts if the pic or terms are clear.

Thanks in advance

you can do it with the arts shown only without adding invisible parts.

Just create a point (to be created in the part mode) on a plane of the pin that is coplanar with the line of the slot on the swash.

I will suggest to draw a line exactly in the center of the slot in the swash, and in part mode.

If you are still confused sent me your simplified assembly and I will do it for you.
