I am designing a reinforced concrete roof supported by beams culminating at a point at the apex. I am using a software often referenced in these forums but would like to do some checks on the design results. Does anyone have a good reference for a spreadsheet or hand calculation to check the analysis of a sloped reinforced concrete beam? Beam actual length = 26', with 10' elevation difference between the beam at peak and the beam end at the exterior wall. In other words - a sloped beam (which is also tapered).
 
As long it is a beam, assuming one side hinged and the other simply supported you only need to analyze it as the one of its projected span and weights-loads. However wind considerations, potential arch action (if in a symmetrical setup and not released for horizontal displacement) may complicate the thing and introduce new things that need attention.
 
I agree with ishvaaag. Under gravity load, the slope of the beam does not enter into the calculation if it is supported on a hinge at one end and a horizontal roller at the other. If the supports are other than that, slope makes a difference.

Please provide a sketch showing the beam, the support conditions and the nature of the loading and we may be able to assist you more.
