Assume have a permanent pond on top of an embankment.

The pond induces a vertical hydraulic gradient. The down drag forces by water should thus increase the effective stresses and hence the factor of safety.

How can I run a program to take into account the non hydrostatic conditions. I assume Slope/w or any other similar program only considers hydrostatic conditions by a given phreatic surface.

How does Slope/w allow doing it, or any other way?

I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
