Hi,

How do you determine the speed of the slipstream left by a car running on a highway? I know that the shape of the car, (therefore the drag coefficient) will make a difference but how is the speed calculated at certain point?

Thanks!

M

The slipstream behind anything is a turbulent vortex with air circulating in numerous directions. The only short answer to your questions is "it depends".
