Can a slab gate be designed with both DIB-1 and DIB-2 seat configuration?

Split wedge yes. Simple slab, don't think so.

You can get spring energised seats to do it, if we’re going for the 6D definitions it’s going to be a special product for at least one of the valve designs.

Is just why you’d want it, DIB-1 you’d need a vent/drain connection to the body cavity.
DIB-2 you need to be very careful how you install the valve...

Looking at the definitions these seem to refer to ball valve seats not gate valve seats.

Slab gate valve seats generally rely on pressure on one side to seal the slab against the seal.

But different vendors offer different solutions.
