regarding a Q-building (quonset arch steel) on a slab foundation with steel base plate connectors, can anyone offer information for the best type slab application for connectors to anchor properly? Manufacturers seem to typically have their own methods and there seem to be several shown. There is a flat slab with connectors sitting flat, and also a 2" raised inside level so that the connectors butt up against the concrete. Which style/type gives the most strength in regard to moisture inside the building and posible movement of the building panels and/or bolts holding it down?
