Sketches NX8.5 1

I just switched to NX8.5 from NX7.5 so I know there is a simple answer to this question, but I can't find it.
It seems like I cannot constrain an end point of a line on my sketch to an existing datum plane, or make a line colinear to a datum plane, like I could in NX7.5.
What am I missing here ?

Check your selection filter, it may be set to "within sketch only", which will only allow you to select objects that belong to the current sketch. Change the filter to something more appropriate for your task.

Thank you I changed it to "within work part only" and it worked.
