Hi,

I have a group of lines and arcs imported from an IGES file (which shows up as a SKETCH GROUP) in Nx.

Is there any way to convert this directly to sketches, in a SINGLE SHOT?
I am aware that you can create a new sketch, add existing curves, Project curves etc., to the sketch.
But what I require is to convert the Sketch group into a Sketch directly, which I can constrain or dimension later...

Thx in adv,

Nx 8.5 on Tce 8, Win 7

No. You have to define the sketch plane among other things. Then you can add the existing curves.- I.e create a sketch.
But, in NX9 you can do 2D Direct modeling, - manipulate the imported curves in a intelligent way without adding any constraints, - In the sketcher.

Regards
Tomas
