Sizing MEG Injection umbilicals

Hi all,

Is there any special method involved in sizing a MEG injection line (in the form of umbilicals cores) as opposed to normal pipeline sizing? Does the core size ,e.g. 1" automatically means a cross section of pipe with 1" diameter? Thanks.
