Hi, if I replace a single degree of freedom forced mass spring system, with a fixed- forced bar, I know that my eigenfrequency increase, and so I would be seeing more frequencies, my question is what is expected of the amplitude of vibrations??? thanks.

Hoomanya,

If you replace a spring with a bar, what you have is a much stiffer spring. It still is a single degree of freedom forced mass spring system. Could you provide us a diagram?
