Simulating rope with tensile properties

I have pasted the link of a patent that I want to reproduce using proe. Here the platform above is held in horizontal position by ropes which are in tension and are wound on spool assembly welded to the platform below.


I have made all the parts but now I am stuck at how to simulate the rope/cable part as a flexible and tensile part.


I have gone through nearly all the previous discussions regarding this topic and they have all ended without any conclusion or any successful attemp at the problem.


Please advice.

check that one out. i tried to open the website my self but
it didnt work. but they were talking about flexible hoses
here. might help. i am trying my self right now
