silicone elastomer modeling

For a part I'm working on, the size and shape of a compressed silicone disc is important. We have done these in a "guess and check" fashion in the past, but I want to understand the theory behind the deformation and use a model to help cut down our design iterations.

Has anyone seen a reasonably accurate model for this material?
