This may be tow simple questions to someone, but it's driving me mad now.
Firstly I know i can display the contents of a Vword on the TD200 by just embedding data into the screen and the TD200 wizard will take care of that but rather than having numeric data is it possible to display a three character message in a Vword like 'on' and 'off' for example, i am putting a status page together and would like to display something other than 0 or 1 as i'm trying to make this simple to work with.
The other question is, is it possible to display the status of the inputs on the TD200 as a Vword, so i can put two Vwords on there which display the status of the inputs as 0 or 1 so i would get a message like:
01101101
The only way i thought this may be possible is to write 1 Vwords into the data block that represent every permetation of the 4 bits and use a little ladder logic to move the correct vword to the addres of the TD200's embedded vword to display the correct message repersenting the input status. If there is an easier way of doing this could someone point me in the right direction
Many Thanks
