Siemens Profibus to DeltaV connection

Hi,

I'm trying to get some data from Siemens S7-315-2DP to the DeltaV DCS via the Profibus connection. Two questions I have would be:
1) what is the connection requirements?
2) what is setup on either side requirements?

Hi there,

first of all you would require GSD file which the manufacturer of the DCS system must give to you, you then import this GSD into your Step 7. You must also setup a data transfer area in your hardware configuration, here is a nice link for you
