Dear Sir
The Si solid fluidized reactor with PDI (pressure differential transmitter).
A reactor pressure points in the fluid bed are purged continuously with H2 to keep the nozzle from buildup. I would like to know how the reactor density can be
measured at two locations. The PDI is taken a measurement across tap1(EL 500mm) and tap2 (EL 1500mm) so that the differential pressure reading distance is 1 m.
Assume it is all fluid phase,
Refer the P = density * g *L
Density (kg/m3)=1019*P(bar)/1m
It seems that above equation is good if the process is in the fluid phase,
but I am not sure it is ok in the solid phase.
As this reactor is full of solid and H2, and it seems that pressure versus height is
asymptote relationship in solid phase instead of linear relation the fluid phase.
Please give me some help.
Thank you.
