I have done a model using MD.NASTRAN2010.1 SOL700, results are good and coherent with the experimental data.
The model consists in a sphere that impacts at low velocity on a composite panel.
I modeled the panel with CQUAD4 elements that have PCOMPG propriety and MATM material(I have to study PFA with GENOA MATERIALS)... how can I display delamination growth with a Quick Plot in Patran??? It is possible?
Watching the results of Effective Plastic Strain ply-by-ply I have noticed that the Fringe of this parameter has the same shape of delaminationmzone, but I know that delamination and yield of material are two different things. Please help me!
