Dear Members
I heard that Hardox grade steels are used to fabricate the loading shovel or excavator buckets are made from special grade steel. What is the speciality of that steel. Why cannot the shovel be fabricated from a steel casting? Thanks

it is hard and abrasion resistant and extends the life of buckets that are used for rock handling.
