Users of the imperial system of measurement. Is there a shorthand for the abbreviation (p.s.f.) pounds per square foot? For example, I can show that I'm using the unit of feet in decimal by simply placing a tick mark at the upper right, instead of (ft.) For the beam loading calculations, my page always gets crowded. So I was wondering if there is such a thing.

#/(here you draw a little square)'

Some people put the ' in the little square. If I try to draw a little square here I will likely get a censored symbol.

Eliminate the periods.

I've used the box with a line to represent square feet in calculations (by hand).
For psf I use..... psf

For the little square, you can use ASCII Code Alt+9633

Well that doesn't work on this site: Ñ
