I am unable to work two projects at the same time due to various constraints. My colleague has need of a geotechnical/site/civil engineer to try to get the construction of a thermal power plant back on track - from the earthworks/foundation/breakwater point of view. It looks like it would be about 3 months on the one project and there is another 5 months or so that would come up likely concurrently as well. Interesting one that - with vacuum ground improvement. Anyone knowing someone (likely the best would be someone who recently retired and is looking for a few months on, month on and few months on type of work). Location is island of Java. Living conditions are okay but not "big city" - you know the drill - work where the job is . . . If you like surfing, mmmm Timing - ASAP. Also need for construction/contracts manager - civil. Normally wouldn't put this out - but this is our small group and I "owe" this guy (he gave me the assignment allowing me to meet my wife!!!!).
