Hi!

I am currently trying to calculate short-circuit currents for a 6.6kV marine network (so following IEC363 standard).

I've got two main issues:

1/ What is the contribution of synchro-converters to the short-circuit? It seems that the contribution changes, depending on the operating mode (powering or re-generating). IEC363 says that it should be taken into account, but gives no fomulae to do the calculation.

2/ Should I consider any contribution for the capacitors included in the harmonic filters connected to the network? If yes, how to calculate it? IEC363 does even not mention this type of equipment!

Any suggestions will be welcome, Thanks in advance!
