Currently, we are develop electrical system in a small platform. It will be fed from DC Generator/CCVT and 24V DC main battery bank.
For special condition will fed from emergency generator 400V AC.
Therefore we put some of DC/DC Converter 24 VDC, Inverter 24/230.
As you know, usually inverter and converter will be limiting the output 1.1 or 1.2 full load. Based on our calculation, short circuit below downstream is very low where breaker can not detect as a fault. An other issue our client want to applied selectivity that mean only at feeder faulted shall be trip. They don't accepted, converter/inverter shutdown because output exceed than 1.2 full load "during short circuit condition".
Can any body tell me what I shall be do?? Is there any modification or additional devices to achieve the goal??
