Can anyone advise a reference for the design of sheet pile walls to ASSHTO criteria?

Try AASHTO's Standard Specifications For Highway Bridges. The manual has earth pressure diagrams for permanent and temporary walls using continuous sheeting and discrete (soldier beams) elements. There is also a section on anchored walls. Search fpr AASHTO's web site for buying their publications.
