Hi all.

Just this morning I've started to look at sheet metal. Unfortunately, I'm under a severe time crunch so I've not much time to figure out if I can do what I want with sheet metal.

What I'm trying to make is a part whose profile is: vertical line for 3", tangent into a R21", 90° arc, tangent into a horizontal 3" line.

In the short time I've been looking at it, I can't see how to use sheet metal to make the arched segment.

I also tried making it as a solid and converting it to sheet metal but all I could find in help was stuff about "rip" and it wanted planar faces, not cylindrical.

I'm guessing the limitation is mine and not the software's but I don't have time to figure it out right now. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Since I can't delete my post, I'll just add this:

Please disregard my question. I've just realized a conceptual problem I was having and am now moving forward again.

If you click "Inappropriate post? If so, Red Flag it!" and explain why you want it deleted, the Admin will do so.
