Greetings respected engineers.
I want to understand and learn how to use ETABS in designing.It's my first time to use ETABS. I am confused on how to model, analyze, and design this building. I need some assistance with the following:
1. How to model shear wall in ETABS to support the beams resting on it? How to analyze and design it as well?
2. How to model the beams and columns which are connected offset from each other? The beams are placed on the edge.
3. How to lay-out the slab in ETABS so that it will reach the edge of the wall? Not just the center of the columns.
If you can give more inputs i would greatly appreciate it..
