I am designing a shear wall and have question such as maximum reinforcement and maximum length. Anybody know if the codes address these two issues.

Wood, steel or concrete?? And what sheathing is used and hold downs??

He did say ACI, which I think means concrete.

Suggest ACI318 is the appropriate place for you to look.
