IBC provide allowable shear for panels with 10d or 8d nailes. Anyone know how to define the capicity of panels with stales. Thanks.

Never heard of a shearwall with staples.

Reduce the allowable values for the shearwall as specified in IBC tbl 2306.4.1 sub note a

There is also an ICC (Legacy) report available from the staple/nail gun people which has diaphragm values based on testing.

Thanks for the information, SperlingPE
