If I have a 10 mm particle (assume spherical) with a density of 200 kg/m3, falling vertically under gravity into an horizontal airstream at 15 m/s in a duct of a known diameter, how do I calculate
a) whether the particle will be carried in the airstream
b) if the particle is not carried on the airstream, how far it will deflect/be blown down the duct before it hits the bottom of the pipe.

The numbers don't really matter, but I'm keen to learn how to calculate the transfer velocity and also how to model the trajectory of particles that are above the transfer velocity.
