i am working now on design of concrete retaining wall with variable height and 2 m fence above it .
since it isn't accepted that footprint to be outside property limit,actual settlement exceeds 25 mm.
is there any code or reference recommend allowable settlement 50 mm (2 in) for this sort of structures?
i appreciate if you give me reference from any of these standards IBC/UBC/ASCE/BS/ACI as they are the accepted codes from our client.
