Setting center of rotation with spaceball in V4

My spaceball 4000FLX by IBM-3Dconnexion has button "4" programmed to set center of rotation. I cannot figure out how to move this function to button "B"...can anyone help? I have tried many things in the programming software but cannot get it to work. thanks!

I've got the same spaceball. On mine, button C brings up a menu with a tab for button mapping.

I remember being told you can also customize the spaceball within CATIA, but I forget which one takes priority.
