Are there service temperature limits applied to the D1.1 code. In particular, pre-qualified joint configurations? I have been unable to find any.

There may be restrictions on low temperature applications, in that, if the engineering documents call for impact testing, WPS' would have to be qualified with impact tests. See 4.1.1.3

I would be more concerned about an upper limit as the fabrictaion would be in the 600 degree F service range.

The proper selection of materials for elevated temperature service by the designer or owner dictates their use for elevated temperature service, not welding processes or a welding standard like AWS.
